Human Resources Manager / Mercedes-Benz Brisbane Located in the heart of Newstead, Mercedes-Benz Brisbane is seeking a hands-on, collaborative and on-site Human Resources Manager. Taking full ownership of the HR function, you will serve as a trusted partner and advisor supporting our Queensland entities. In addition, you will also be an active member of the Group's national HR Team. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with the management team on a wide array of HR matters.
- Ensure the smooth running of the operational and administrative HR function across all touch points of the HR life cycle.
- Manage recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Generate and process various letters, templates, and other documents in line with changes to employment conditions.
- Manage the off-boarding of exiting employees, including termination paperwork and exit interviews.
- Partner with managers to resolve employee performance issues.
- Assist in the creation of new processes and system improvements.
- Manage annual processes, including performance reviews and salary reviews.
- Work closely with the Payroll, Finance, and IT departments.
- Data maintenance of the HRIS system and in-house Learning Platform.
- Monthly Work, Health, and Safety management and reporting.
- Responsible for Work Health & Safety/Worker Compensation.
- Work with external worker's compensation support.
About You: - Strong administration, data entry, and analytical skills.
- Solid experience in employee relations and performance management.
- A positive and supportive approach to nurturing a performance culture.
- Experience in customer-centric HR with a corporate influence will be advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in providing HR support to operational teams.
- Understanding of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, and relevant Industrial Relations legislation.
- Understanding of Work, Health & Safety/Workcover.
- Experience coaching and influencing senior leaders.
- Knowledge and experience in consulting on a broad range of HR issues.
